A few words from my heart about why I believe that we should all incorporate meditation practice into our lives.
I believe that self-observation brings true knowledge. There is a lot of external information that we simply take to be true because we don't give ourselves a chance to question.
True knowledge comes from within. No veils, no stimulation. Just pure insight and real understanding.
As Carl G Jung says:
"Your vision will become clearer only when you look into your heart ... he who looks outside dreams. Who looks inside, awakens."
Meditation is the excellence practice of self-observation. By quieting the body and mind is when we can enter to other states of consciousness.
"I'm not good at that meditation"
I think there is no good or bad, that's how we are, and that's how we are configured. Many programming have been put into our minds. And feeds on their constant activity. From compulsive dispersal, diversification. That's why we enjoy having fun so much and bringing new things into our lives all the time. The mind is going to throw tantrums and kick because it wants to be active. Obviously it won't be easy !! But if you want to access to the knowledge beyond your rational mind that only divides us from the rest, you are going to have to make friends with two masters: discipline and perseverance.
I see the act of sitting in meditation as an act of love towards ourselves. This act will create by itself an internal force that wants to see us in harmony, happy. And it is that same force that will begin to make conscious other aspects in our life that are not flowing with harmony. Thanks to the practice of meditation we can see everything in a more clearly and meaningful way.
Let's take into account this concept: what we need is not always what we want.
My advice to both myself and those around me:
Take responsibility for your life, spiritually speaking. Doubt everything. Question yourself. Believe in you as a spirit.
